The BruNotts Society is organising the Leavers’ BBQ for all our beloved BruNotts members. Please RSVP as soon as possible as we need to count the number of people attending especially to participating leavers and volunteers.

so we can adjust the shirt according to the game. If you are unable to play, or can’t make it to the event but you want the shirt, please tell us in advance.  A gentle reminder to everyone, the deadline for doing this is on the 17th May 2012.

We also need some volunteers (non-leavers) for the game! (Especially one that has a camera with good video quality hehe) Volunteers will participate in the game but will not be able to play and also other stuffs. Just write your name in the spreadsheet provided, first come first serve!

These spots are open for all the first and second year students. We will email the volunteers their individual task.

This event will be free for the Leavers only, non-leavers will have to pay £3 entrance fee.

The Game will start insya Allah at 10.20am, so players don’t be late!

The Dress Code will be running attire. Bear in mind, there will be some strenuous physical movement involved.

The British High Commission are pleased to announce that the Digital Scrapbook Competition has been extended until Friday 29 June 2012. The Digital Scrapbook Competition gives Bruneians studying in the UK a chance to voice their opinions about British education and talk about their experiences of living in the UK in a short 3 minute video clip.

Exam season is around the corner but then that does not simply mean the end of the world for all of us.

First and foremost, This religious event is a joint event with the LufBru and BruLeics Society. In order to get there, we’ll be using train to Loughborough and then, we’ll be using bus to Ann Packer, University of Loughborough (where the event is held). Alhamdullilah, all the transportation fees that are TRAIN TICKETS and BUS TICKETS are fully sponsored by BruNotts Society. When the exam season is around the corner and you have put in most of your time in revising, what more can complete your efforts towards being committed to your studies? Seek help and the beauty in the lights and Du’a to the Creator. Insya Allah, things will be easier for us.

The University’s Open Weekend for Alumni and Friends! The University opens its doors and welcomes alumni and friends onto campus to meet with the staff and current students and re-discover the University and celebrate in its success. There is so much to do, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The BruNotts Society will also be there to display our traditional and Bruneian Culture to the other societies and the visitors. Show your love to Brunei by coming to this event. There is no harm in giving out a hand and participating in this MayFest. Come and support us!

We regret to announce that there is a slight change to the result of the Alton Tower Trip due to high demand of it to be organized after the exam. So in order to make thing easier for our fellow members, the committee have reconsidered to make another survey to cater everyone’s preference. However, these dates are the only available dates that we can offer to you guys as most of the committee won’t be in Nottingham after these dates. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The Alton Tower Trip is back againnnn! It is a known fact that the exam season is just around the corner. Why not spend your weekend with some twists of adrenaline rush and inevitable temptation of the ride of a lifetime for a price of just less than 30 pounds!

In order to make this outing a successful one, please spend some of your time to answer this poll before the 25th of April 2012.

Reality of fun and a stress free weekend getaway is just a click away, guys!

Please put some considerations and efforts in thinking of this matter seriously as we could be hiring a coach to go to the Alton Tower. We don’t want to lose any money due to some last minute cancellations.  We hope everyone will be able to come.

The new BruNotts Easter Games Committee would like to thank all the BruNotts Members, volunteers, participants and supporters, basically those involved in this event who had travelled far all the way from all parts of the United Kingdom to arrive in Nottingham, solely to attend the event in the anticipation of to MEET AND COMPETE on the 31st March 2012.

The BruNotts Society would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners for all of you, winners well deserved it. To those who didn’t make it to the finals, it is all right. There is always a next time. Bear in mind to not ever give up. Use this experience as a platform to practice and practice and practice more until you reach the unbeatable point. Insya Allah, all the hard work will pay off soon. All in all, it is the experience that matters and you guys had fun competing, making new friends and catching up with our fellow Bruneians.

We are more than content to announce that the BruNotts Society will be organising an appreciation dinner event for the BruNotts ExCo of 2011/2012 solely to treasure all their hard work, perseverance and determination to bring BruNotts this far. The event will also be an appreciation night for those involved with the BruNotts Easter Games. Be it directly or indirectly. These people are the main wheels of these events happening within the BruNotts Society and it is our turn now to reward them with the treatments they deserve.
